Stellantis Celebrates Third Student Awards Program

In an online ceremony, Stellantis recently celebrated the successful completion of its third global Student Awards program by presenting monetary rewards to over 660 recent high school and university graduates of Stellantis employees from 22 countries. This year-round educational program encourages gifted young minds towards creativity, sparking the development of new ideas for the future.

This year’s applicants demonstrated their inventiveness and foresight by creating examples of future mobility technologies, presenting written essays outlining their vision. Nearly 16,000 students worldwide have received financial awards since the program’s 1996 launch in Italy. At this year’s celebration, the awardees were honored by Xavier Chéreau, human resources and heritage, and John Elkann, chairman of Stellantis.

“For the past 28 years, the Student Awards have celebrated thousands of passionate learners,” said Elkann. “We were deeply impressed by this year’s submissions and thank our graduates for their thoughtful contributions. Stellantis remains dedicated to fostering continuous education. Awarding resources to this generation of talented individuals ensures the creativity and agility needed for a sustainable future.”

Elkann visited the founding sites of Stellantis in Auburn Hills, Michigan (U.S.); Modena, Italy; and Vélizy, France, during his first week in his new position as head of the interim executive committee, further emphasizing the value of the company’s workforce.

“Education is the foundation of innovation and growth,” said Chéreau. “The Student Awards program for our employees’ children is of great value to Stellantis, allowing us both to value the curiosity and desire to learn from new generations, and to share their vision and expectations for future mobility.”

The Sergio Marchionne Award of Excellence, a secondary award honoring six regional winners who exhibit a strong desire for a better future, received applications from 46% of this year’s prize recipients. The chance to interview for a job at Stellantis was extended to the six regional champions: Nathan Ren from China, Felix Regler from Germany, Shraddha Murali from India, Adrielle Naidoo from South Africa, Grace Liu from the United States, and Maria Luiza Francisco Moreira from Brazil.
