Stellantis Acquires CloudMade AI Technology

The company behind customer-favorite Dodge and Ram vehicles is taking a step into the great unknown future of AI technology! Stellantis has just announced the acquisition of the artificial intelligence framework, machine learning models and intellectual property rights and patents of CloudMade, a developer of smart and innovative big data-driven automotive solutions. This acquisition will support the mid-term development of STLA SmartCockpit and reinforces Stellantis’ ambitious planned software strategy.

CloudMade’s AI-powered framework is the industry-leading cloud and software development kit for gathering and analyzing automotive data sets. It’s been the reference point used to update the in-car and mobility user experience over the last ten years.

This acquisition covers more than just software and IP. 44 engineers and software developers from CloudMade will be joining Stellantis, bringing their expertise on the development of AI tech.
