Ram Unveils Lunar-Themed Power Wagon and Rebel HD Editions

Ram has unveiled a pair of stunning Lunar-themed special editions of the Ram Power Wagon and Rebel Heavy Duty, which promise to deliver bold design elements and premium features inspired by the moon’s distinctive color palettes. These limited-edition trucks will be available in dealerships starting October 2024, giving enthusiasts a chance to own vehicles that push the boundaries of sport truck design.

With the introduction of the new Lunar versions, Ram continues to lead the sport truck segment, blending rugged capability with an aesthetic that’s out of this world. “These two new special editions build on our SportTruck leadership position,” said Chris Feuell, CEO of Ram and Chrysler brands. “They’re built on proven platforms and offer the value and design features that our customers have come to expect.”

The exterior design of both the Ram Power Wagon and the Rebel HD Lunar editions is defined by a sleek Ceramic Grey color, contrasted by gloss black Lunar-themed vinyl body graphics. The Power Wagon rolls on 17-inch black wheels, while the Rebel HD sports 20-inch black wheels, giving both trucks a commanding presence. Body-color badging and premium LED headlights and taillights further enhance the distinctive look. Adding to their functionality are tow mirrors, which reflect the trucks’ utility and toughness.

The off-road prowess of the Power Wagon is evident with its factory-installed 2-inch lift and robust 33-inch tires designed to tackle rugged terrain. Inside the Lunar editions, the interiors echo the moon’s cool tones, with Surf Blue stitching accenting black leather seats. Drawing inspiration from the Ram TRX, Twill Film accents enhance the door panels, instrument panel, and console. An exclusive die-cast metal badge proudly emblazoned with either “Power Wagon” or “Rebel” adorns the console lid, adding a touch of sophistication. For the first time in these models, a wireless charging pad is included, underscoring the advanced technology that Ram has integrated into the Lunar editions.

Under the hood, the Ram Power Wagon Lunar edition is powered by a 6.4L HEMI® V-8 engine that generates an impressive 410 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque. With front and rear locking differentials and a sway bar disconnect system, the Power Wagon is engineered to maintain traction on challenging off-road surfaces. This powerhouse also comes equipped with a factory-installed 12,000-pound Warn winch discreetly integrated into the front bumper, ready to rescue even the most stranded Lunar Rover.

The Rebel HD Lunar edition, on the other hand, boasts the formidable 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel engine, which cranks out 370 horsepower and a jaw-dropping 850 lb.-ft. of torque. With a towing capacity of up to 14,900 pounds and a payload rating of 1,960 pounds, the Rebel HD is built to handle heavy-duty tasks with ease. Its class-exclusive link-coil rear suspension system, with optional air suspension, provides a smooth and comfortable ride while automatically leveling the truck when carrying heavy loads.
