Ram Partners with Universal Pictures for “Twisters” Release

Ram Truck brand and Universal Pictures have joined forces once again, this time for the highly anticipated summer action movie, “Twisters.” Set to hit theaters on July 19, “Twisters” is a collaboration between Universal, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Amblin Entertainment. To celebrate the film’s release, Ram is launching a new advertising campaign titled “Answer Your Calling,” which highlights the thrilling and dynamic nature of the movie, featuring some of nature’s most awe-inspiring and destructive forces.
The “Answer Your Calling” campaign is designed to capture the excitement of “Twisters,” showcasing the film’s action-packed scenes where Ram trucks navigate treacherous storms. The campaign stars Glen Powell, who plays a key role in the movie and is seen driving Ram trucks through intense weather conditions. The global campaign will run in markets across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. In the U.S., the marketing effort includes a 30-second cross-channel video that will air on broadcast television, as well as on Ram’s official YouTube channel and social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
“When the ‘Twister’ film was first released in 1996, our hero was behind the wheel of a Ram 2500 truck,” said Olivier Francois, global chief marketing officer, Stellantis. “When we learned that Universal Pictures was filming ‘Twisters,’ there was no doubt that a Ram truck would again appear as the movie’s heroic vehicle. The stars further aligned knowing that Glen Powell himself is a Ram truck owner, adding even more authenticity and credibility to what is expected to be one of the biggest movies of the summer.”

“Answer Your Calling” is the third installment in Ram Truck’s evolving advertising campaigns. This latest campaign promises to take viewers on an exhilarating journey, showcasing the power and resilience of Ram trucks as they help the film’s characters chase, evade, and outmaneuver nature’s fury. The video prominently features the all-new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO and highlights the brand’s robust lineup of off-road trucks, including the Power Wagon, Rebel, and Warlock models.
In addition to the campaign’s television and social media presence, Ram Truck has partnered with Universal Pictures and the American Red Cross for a special initiative tied to the release of “Twisters.” To help prevent a summer blood shortage and support disaster relief efforts, anyone who donates blood or platelets from July 1-31 will receive a Fandango movie ticket via email. Additionally, those who donate between July 1-14 will also receive a unique “Twisters” and Red Cross umbrella, while supplies last.
