Ram and Jeep Hold Exhibits at 2023 Detroit Auto Show

The 2023 Detroit Auto Show is underway, and Stellantis is holding a big presence at the event with brands like Jeep and Ram. Not only are both of these automakers hosting interesting interactive exhibits, but senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America Jim Morrison will be revealing the new 2024 Jeep Gladiator 4×4 at the auto show this year.

Both Jeep and Ram are holding exhibits at the Detroit Auto Show, called Camp Jeep and Ram Truck Territory respectively. Each exhibit features interactive elements and plenty of fun for attendees of the event.

This year, Camp Jeep will be featuring the tallest and steepest Jeep Mountain in Detroit Auto Show history, Jeep 4xe vehicles on the test track and a new kids’ course with Jeep 4xe Power Wheels. Attendees will have the chance to ride with professional drivers through the 32,000-square-foot interactive course, with an off-camber bridge standing 12 feet tall and 70 feet in length, 50% taller and 50% longer than the previous off-camber bridge. The Jeep crevasse, a 40-foot-long and 10-foot-tall off-road obstacle built from 96 timbers, is also new this year, highlighting Jeep’s 4×4 maneuverability and suspension as the vehicle makes its way over the timbers, and the 23-foot mountain with 40-degree ascent/descent angles will really show the vehicle’s mettle. The display uses 40 potted trees that will be donated to Detroit-area charities after the show.

The Jeep brand exhibit will also feature a kids’ course this year, a first for the Detroit Auto Show. Here, kids will be able to drive their own Jeep 4xe Power Wheels. This section of the exhibit will even feature a 26-foot climbing wall for adventurous attendees.

Ram Truck Territory is also returning this year with a 30,000-square-foot adventure for anyone who wants to experience what these trucks can really do. Attendees can take the interactive course in both the Ram 1500 light-duty and 2500/3500 heavy-duty trucks, with an estimated 20,000 rides being given. The trucks will show off their articulation as they navigate around convex wedges at 26 degrees, and display their traction and hill descent technology on the Ram Mobile Mountain, an 18-foot-tall, 30-yard-long mountain.

Both Camp Jeep and Ram Truck Territory are open to the public from Saturday, September 16 through Sunday, September 24 while the Detroit Auto Show is open. These exhibits are free to attendees of the show!
