Ram 1500 and Team Brute Squad Gear Up for 2024 Rebelle Rally

This October, Ram is taking on the rugged challenges of the 2024 Rebelle Rally with seasoned competitors Jill Ciminillo and Kristin Shaw behind the wheel of the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. The ninth annual all-women’s off-road event spans over 1,500 miles of harsh desert terrain, pushing teams through some of the toughest driving and navigation conditions in the world. From October 10-19, 2024, Ciminillo, serving as navigator, and Shaw, as the driver, will be embarking on their third consecutive rally together.

Chris Feuell, CEO of Ram brand at Stellantis, shared his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “The Ram 1500 RHO is right at home in the Rebelle Rally, and we’re proud to support Team Brute Squad in this year’s event. Our trucks are tested in the toughest environments, and this event is a unique way to showcase how RHO reinforces North America’s leading off-road truck lineup.”

The Rebelle Rally isn’t just about off-roading; it’s about mastering navigation in extreme conditions. GPS devices and smartphones are banned from the competition. Participants like Ciminillo and Shaw must rely solely on maps, compasses, and roadbooks to chart their course through the desert. Precision, patience, and teamwork are critical in this eight-day event as drivers and navigators work together to hit hidden checkpoints while battling time and distance.

Under the hood of the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is the all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output (H/O) Straight-Six Turbo engine, part of Stellantis’ Hurricane Twin-turbo family. This powerhouse cranks out 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft. of torque, delivering improved fuel economy and lower emissions compared to its competitors. With more horsepower and torque than naturally aspirated V-8 and boosted six-cylinder engines in the light-duty segment, the RHO is built to dominate the off-road world.

One of the standout features of the Ram 1500 RHO is its value—offering the best horsepower per dollar in its class, at $129.60 per horsepower. It’s a testament to Ram’s ongoing leadership in the off-road truck market, delivering unmatched performance and capability.

The Rebelle Rally is more than just a motorsport event—it’s an adventure that unites women in their passion for off-roading and precision driving. With over 1,500 miles of desert landscapes, the rally challenges each team’s endurance and navigational skills. But it’s not just the terrain that makes the event so special; it’s also the sense of community and empowerment that comes from competing alongside other fearless women in a male-dominated sport.

Ciminillo and Shaw, known as Team Brute Squad, bring a wealth of experience and determination to the Rebelle Rally. Ciminillo is an automotive journalist, YouTube personality, podcaster, and managing editor of Pickup Truck+SUV Talk, while Shaw is a freelance journalist specializing in both automotive and aviation reporting. Together, they make a formidable team.

Since becoming its own stand-alone division in 2009, Ram has focused on crafting top-tier trucks for every purpose. From the versatile Ram 1500 to the heavy-duty 2500/3500 and Chassis Cab models, Ram continues to set the benchmark for quality and performance in the truck industry. Whether it’s best-in-class features like the available 1,000 lb.-ft. of torque in the Cummins Turbo Diesel or the luxurious interiors of the Ram 1500 Tungsten, the brand continues to innovate.

The Ram 1500 is one of the most awarded light-duty trucks in America and consistently tops customer satisfaction rankings, such as the J.D. Power APEAL study. Its loyal fanbase and stellar reputation speak for themselves, proving Ram’s commitment to delivering trucks that excel in performance, comfort, and durability.
