All-New All-Electric Dodge Charger Makes Debut

Witness the electrification of a legend– the all-new 2024 Dodge Charger has finally made its entrance, and it’s breaking ground as the world’s first and only all-electric muscle car! The introduction of this vehicle marks the beginning of a brand new era not only for muscle cars, but for the entire automotive industry.

This next-generation Dodge Charger may be making some big changes, but it’s not losing what’s important– its status as the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car. The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack will be capable of delivering 670 horsepower, and is expected to be able to go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, and to run the quarter-mile in an estimated 11.5 seconds. Each model and configuration of the vehicle will deliver its own brand of unstoppable electric power.

“The electrified 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack delivers Charger Hellcat Redeye levels of performance and announces its presence through the world’s first Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, while Hurricane engine-powered Dodge Charger SIXPACK models will give the Brotherhood of Muscle a gas option that produces better horsepower and torque numbers than the outgoing 5.7- and 6.4-liter HEMI engines,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer – Stellantis. “The next generation of Dodge muscle has arrived.”

Dynamic and intense, the new Charger is the first fully electrified muscle car to join the Dodge Brotherhood of Muscle. It’s also the first vehicle to debut the STLA Large platform, a highly flexible, BEV-native platform with the potential to carry extreme power. The introduction of the electric Charger aligns particularly well with the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, which emphasizes electrified and efficient propulsion systems, and outlines goals for Stellantis to cut its global carbon footprint by 50% by 2030, and lead the transportation industry by achieving net carbon zero by 2038.

With zero tailpipe emissions and highly advanced technology, the new Charger is packed with features, including a PowerShot mode with an incremental 40 horsepower for Charger Daytona models, new Attitude Adjustment interior lighting, best-in-class cargo and rear cargo capacity, an optional augmented head-up display, and much more. With a model for every driver’s individual wants and needs and the power and stunning good looks that Dodge lovers have always expected from the brand, this vehicle truly is the beginning of a whole new chapter for the muscle car world.
