Actor Glen Powell Ushers in All-New 2025 Ram 1500 RHO
The launch of the all-new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO marks a significant milestone for the Ram brand, as it introduces the most capable and affordable off-road truck lineup in the industry. To celebrate this evolution, Ram has teamed up with actor Glen Powell, known for his passion, ambition, and perseverance—traits that align perfectly with the Ram ethos.
“Ram only does trucks, and that focus, passion, and dedication is the foundation of every product we bring to market,” said Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Ram brand at Stellantis. He emphasized that Powell’s career trajectory mirrors the commitment and resilience of Ram customers who rely on these trucks daily.
Glen Powell joined the Ram Truck brand in early April, lending his voice to the new 2025 Ram 1500 campaign, “The Calling.” This 30-second spot highlights individuals chasing their calling with the help of a Ram truck. Powell’s voice resonates with the message, “Our calling was to build trucks, and that’s why trucks are what we do. We put our everything into every truck, so that when you find your calling, nothing can stop you from answering.”
In addition to “The Calling,” Powell stars in the mini-action film “The Convoy,” which showcases the all-new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO and reinforces the entire off-road lineup, including the Power Wagon, Rebel, and Warlock models. In this thrilling film, Powell plays an action hero ensuring the Ram truck convoy delivers the Ram 1500 RHO, the latest addition to Ram’s off-road capable lineup. The film features special appearances by renowned stunt drivers Collete Davis, Tanner Foust, and Rhys Millen, as well as an appearance by Ram Brand CEO Tim Kuniskis.
“I grew up in Texas in an adventurous family where fun rarely stayed just on the pavement. I can relate to truck owners and their needs, and I’ve always been a huge fan of how Ram does it,” said Glen Powell. He expressed his excitement about teaming up with a brand that brings the thrill of adventure to truck owners and enthusiasts everywhere.
Both “The Calling” and “The Convoy” are available for viewing on the Ram brand’s official YouTube channel. Powell’s connection with Ram extends beyond these campaigns to the silver screen, as his character in the upcoming summer blockbuster “Twister” will navigate treacherous storms, relying on Ram trucks.
These campaigns were created in collaboration with Ram’s agency partner, Doner. Since its establishment as a stand-alone division in 2009, the Ram Truck brand has focused on meeting the demands of truck buyers and delivering benchmark-quality vehicles. The Ram lineup includes the Ram 1500, 2500/3500 Heavy Duty, 3500/4500/5500 Chassis Cab, and ProMaster, all designed to tackle tough jobs and get families where they need to go.
Ram continues to outperform the competition and set benchmarks in various areas. The brand boasts best-in-class standard horsepower, segment-first 1,000 lb.-ft of torque with the Cummins Turbo Diesel, and the most luxurious features in the Ram 1500 Tungsten, including real metal and leather elements and a new 14.5-inch Uconnect touchscreen. Additionally, Ram offers the best ride and handling with a double wishbone front suspension and five-link solid rear axle with available, segment-exclusive, active-level, four-corner air suspension. The brand also claims best-in-class available rear legroom and the most cargo space available in any traditional full-size cargo van.
The Ram Power Wagon stands out as the most capable full-size off-road pickup, and the Ram 1500 has been recognized as the most awarded light-duty truck in America. Ram also enjoys the highest owner loyalty of any half-ton pickup. The latest J.D. Power APEAL study, which measures the emotional bond between customers and their vehicles, named the 2023 Ram 1500 the best full-size light-duty pickup.
With the introduction of the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO and its robust off-road lineup, Ram continues to solidify its position as a leader in the truck industry, combining capability, luxury, and innovation to meet the needs of its dedicated customers.
