New automobiles are designed with a tire pressure monitoring system that actively monitors the pressure inside all four of your tires. If the pressure inside of one or more of your tires is too low or too high, you'll receive an alert inside of your vehicle. The make and model of your automobile will determine what the alert is. Some dashboards will flash a warning code, some vehicles light up a picture of a tire, and others will display 'Tire'.

It's important that you listen to the warning that your vehicle is providing you with. A lot of people ignore their tire pressures. This can lead to irreversible damage to your wheels. You could also be putting yourself at a higher risk for a flat tire or a tire blow out.

You can check the pressure in your tires yourself to see if more or less air is needed. If you suspect there is still a problem, call Keller Bros. Dodge in the Lititz, PA area to schedule an appointment for service.
