Last month Dodge introduced the 2020 Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody, it’s a wider version of the standard Charger SRT Hellcat. Originally it seemed like this would just be a companion car, but now Dodge has confirmed that the widebody version will be the only one available for the 2020 model year. Widebody isn’t just standard, it’s the only option.

The Widebody sports wider fenders that add 3.5 inches to the body’s width while allowing 11-inch wide tires to stand out underneath. The suspensions was overhauled as well, it features stiffer springs, larger sway bars, and three-mode adaptive dampers.

The Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody is the world’s fastest mass produced sedan with a top speed of 196 miles per hour. This is because of the discontinuation of the non-widebody model and the discontinuation of the Cadillac CTS-V. The Widebody delivers 707 horsepower, and gets up to 60 mph in only 3.6 seconds.

We expect to see this super sedan starting in early 2020, and honestly we can’t wait to get behind the wheel.
